It's that time of the year again, the one we've all been waiting for... Well we certainly have! As you might have guessed, we are big Christmas lovers here at Gin in the Box! Our December gin of the month was carefully selected to go along with this festive period... For those of you who don't know what we are talking about, it's the Bishop's Gin "Belgian Chocolate Special Edition" of course.
To help spread our festive cheers, we have chosen 5 exclusive Christmas cocktail recipes for your eyes only.
#1 The Gingerbread Sour
5cl Bishop's London Dry Gin
2cl Lemon juice
1.25cl Gingerbread syrup
1 dash of orange bitter
1 egg white
Ginger to garnish
Preparation
Step 1 : Pour all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker, fill with ice and shake.
Step 2 : Pour the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.
Step 3 : Serve with ginger to garnish.
#2 The Classic Christmas G&T
5cl of Bishop's London Dry Gin
20cl of Fever-Tree Premium Indian Tonic Water
1 drop of cinnamon powder
Orange peel to garnish
Preparation
Step 1 : Add 5cl of London Dry Gin in a copa glass.
Step 2 : Pack the glass with ice.
Step 3 : Pour 20cl of tonic water.
Step 4 : Top up with cinnamon and orange peel to garnish.
#3 Gin Royale
1.5cl of Bishop's London Dry Gin
11cl of Champagne
1 strawberry
Preparation
Step 1 : Pour the London Dry Gin into the base of the flute.
Step 2 : Fill the flute with Champagne
Step 3 : Add 1 strawberry for a royale taste.
#4 Mulled Negroni
2.5cl of Bishop's London Dry Gin
2.5cl of Campari
2.5cl of Sweet Vermouth
Red Berry Tea
1 lemon peel to garnish
Preparation
Step 1 : Pour all the ingredients into a mug or double wall glass.
Step 2 : Add tea at last.
Step 3 : Top up with a lemon peel to garnish.

#5 The Belgium Touch
5cl of Bishop's Gin Belgian Chocolate
1cl of sugar syrup
2cl of lemon juice
1 egg white
1 dash of Angustura Bitter
Preparation
Step 1 : Pour all the ingredients into a shaker.
Step 2 : Shake vigorously without ice for 5-7 seconds then fill shaker with ice.
Step 3 : Shake again for a few seconds and serve by filtering icicles and thyme into a pre-chilled copa glass.
